Clarendon County, South Carolina – Sunday morning single vehicle crash was fatal for the driver, police confirm.
South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to the scene around 5:20 a.m. Sunday morning on Plowden Mill Road. According to the report, the vehicle was traveling north when out of a sudden it ran off the road and hit into a tree next to the road.
The driver was alone in the car and during the accident he was not wearing the seatbelt. He was pronounced dead when first responders arrived.
The identity of the man was not released.
There is open investigation about the accident and what was the reason for the car to leave the roadway.
