Florence County man steals four antique cars worth more than $200k, police

Florence County, South Carolina – Florence County man was arrested and charged for the robbery of four antique cars police confirm.

In reference to the recent theft of four classic vehicles, the Florence County police officers executed a search warrant on East McIver Road.

All four vehicles were found in a garage on the premises, but unfortunately, some of the vehicles were missing valuable parts.

This is the list of the vehicles:

  • 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle
  • 1968 Buick Skylark
  • 1976 Chevrolet Corvette
  • 1986 GMC Sierra 1500 pick-up truck

The estimated market value of the vehicles is more than $200,000.

The Florence County man was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and operating a Chop-Shop.

This investigation is still open and additional charges and/or arrests are still possible.
