Food giveaway event to take place Thursday afternoon in Summerville, everyone in need is welcome to come on the first-come, first-served event

Summerville, South Carolina – Another food giveaway event is set to take place on Thursday and help those in need of food.

According to the latest information, the charity event will take place this afternoon and help the community in need.

The event is hosted by the Refuge Bibleway Church and will happen from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday.

Distribution organizers say the event will be held at 215 North 4th Street in Summerville. That is off of North Gum Street.

As a result of the current Covid-19 situation, this will be drive-trhu event.

Those who will come to the event are asked to stay in their vehicles and wear masks in order to prevent the volunteers.

The distribution will be first-come, first-served, Refuge Bibleway Church leaders said.
