Man exposing himself in Beaufort Walmart, arrested and charged

BEAUFORT, S.C. – A man who was following a woman exposing himself and masturbating, was arrested in Saturday police confirm.

The incident happened at the Walmart at 350 Robert Smalls Pkwy. in Beaufort.

According to the police, a woman called 911 using AirPod headphones to not alert the suspect she was on the phone with dispatch. When officers arrived on the scene, they found the woman in the store.

The victim pointed out the man who was just exiting the store. Anthony Quin Brown, 51-year-old from St. Helena Island, was speaking with the police in front of the store when another woman approached the officers and said she was another victim.

According to police, Brown was arrested for indecent exposure and booked into the Beaufort County Detention Center.

He has been released shortly after.
