Monday evening earthquake registered in South Carolina, Summit area

South Carolina – Small earthquake was registered in the area of Summit Monday evening, the United States Geological Survey confirms.

According to South Carolina Emergency Management Division, the earthquake was registered at 6:53 p.m. in the area of Summit.

The earthquake was 2.6 magnitude.

A small earthquake like this one, far away, will probably not be felt at all. But if you do feel it, it will be a subtle gentle shake or two.
