James Island, South Carolina – Moultrie Project is a proposed 15-acre project that should add nearly 70 new townhomes on James Island.
Although the project is still in the early stages and more reviews are yet to be done, the local residents are concerned about how the project might affect them and ask the local officials to be directly included in the review processes that are about to follow.
The proposed James Island project would add nearly 70 new townhomes to the Grimball Road Extension and Folly Road area. Per the plan, the project would require a portion of wetlands to be filled, and local residents are concerned that storm water might cause future problems for the local community.
A long-time resident clearly said that the local community seeks to directly take part in the project even though the Army Corps of Engineers is still reviewing the plan.
Those interested in providing feedback about the project can do so until July 11.
