North Charleston, South Carolina – North Charleston Police Department is investigating shooting incident on Dorchester Road in North Charleston that took place around 1:30 a.m. Monday, the department confirmed.
According to the police spokesman Harve Jacobs, when first responders arrived at the scene at Blue Note Bistro on Dorchester Road following a 911 call in regards to a shooting incident, they found several people suffering wounds by gunfire or shattered glass.
In the initial report about the incident, police officers stated that three people had suffered gunshot wounds, while several others suffered cuts from shattered glass. Some of the victims were treated at the scene, while others were transferred to hospital for treatment. No additional information about the victims’ conditions was given.
The report states two other victims with gunshot wounds were later located away from the club.
In addition, two vehicles parked in the parking lot were damaged in the shooting.
The investigators confirmed there is active and ongoing investigation about the incident, but didn’t provide more details about what had happened. As of now, no arrests have been made and the NCPD is asking for public’s help in solving the case.
