South Carolina hits 8,000 Covid-19 deaths, latest report

Columbia, South Carolina – According to the latest report, the state of South Carolina officially surpassed 8,000 Covid-19 deaths.

Thursday report added 31 new deaths in the last 24 hours.

The number of positive cases still remains high with new 551 confirmed cases.

The total number of positive cases raised to 461,418.

Only less than 4% were positive out of 23,968 molecular test that were added in the report.

Officials expect numbers to drop with the vaccination process taking place.
