Two-vehicle crash in Mount Pleasant Monday morning, at least one person injured

Mount Pleasant, South Carolina – At least one person was injured in the late-morning two-vehicle crash in Mount Pleasant on Monday, local authorities confirmed.

According to multiple reports, firefighters with the Awendaw-McClellanville Fire District and local police were dispatched to the collision at Highway 17 and Indigo Market Drive just before 11:30 a.m. on Monday.

The first responders confirmed that two vehicles were involved in the crash, but didn’t provide additional details how the crash happened.

In addition, they confirmed that at least one person was hurt in the incident, but no information was given about the severity of the injuries.

There is ongoing investigation about the crash. Once more details are available, we will update the case.
