Charleston, South Carolina – After being canceled for some time, Medical University of South Carolina now reopens scheduling appointments for vaccination for those eligible.
The appointments can be scheduled online, officials confirmed Monday.
As reported earlier this month, pharmacies and hospitals had difficulties with the supply. There was a lot of demand of people seeking the vaccine, but not enough doses.
Per current plan, South Carolina expects more than 122,000 doses of the vaccine to be distributed in the next seven days.
According to the DHEC and the state’s vaccination rollout plan, the state is under Phase 1b at the moment.
