West Ashley, South Carolina – Two injured and one dead is the result of the early Sunday morning shooting in West Ashley, police say.
According to Charleston Police Department, officers were dispatched at scene on Risher Street around 2:50 a.m. in regards to a loud noise 911 call.
While police were headed at the scene, they heard gunshot coming from the reported area and asked for back up and reported the call as a shooting call.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found three people suffering apparent gunshot wounds.
Shortly after, one man succumbed to the injuries and was pronounced dead.
The two other victims suffered minor injuries and were transferred to hospital for treatment. Their condition is stable.
The investigation about the incident is ongoing.
Police didn’t reveal the identity of the victim, but are expected to it soon.
