“People Trying To Erase Donald Trump Will ‘Wind Up Getting Erased’” S. C. Senator Lindsey Graham warns anti-Trump GOP movement

South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham threatens anti-Trump GOP movement that people who try to ‘erase’ former president Trump, will end up ‘getting erased’ from the GOP themselves. Graham added that trying to erase Trump from the GOP ‘is insane’.

Talking to Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Graham once again expressed his full support on Trump claiming the ex-president was the essential person for the party going forward.

Earlier this week, Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) was removed from House Republican leadership over her opposition to Trump’s lies that the 2020 election was stolen from him.

“The most popular Republican in America—it’s not Lindsey Graham, is not Liz Cheney, it’s Donald Trump,” said Graham on Monday.

“To try to erase Donald Trump from the Republican party is insane. And the people who try to erase him are going to wind up getting erased,” Graham added.

“It’s impossible for this party to move forward without President Trump being its leader because the people who are conservative have chosen him as their leader,” Graham said. “And you know why they chose him? Because he delivered.”

In a statement, Trump called Cheney a “warmongering fool who has no business in Republican Party Leadership.” He went even further and endorsed Representative Elise Stefanik of New York as a potential replacement for Cheney.

Things are getting serious at GOP as former governors and lawmakers are threating to form a third party if the GOP doesn’t split from Trump.
