South Carolinians become more optimistic about traveling, latest survey shows

Charleston, South Carolina – As the vaccination process is ongoing and the supply becomes more available, South Carolinians become more and more optimistic about traveling.

According to the latest AAA’s survey, more than 49% of the residents are thinking about traveling somewhere this season.

Compared to January, there is 10% increase.

The vaccine added the much-needed safety when it comes to traveling. Almost everyone confirmed that the vaccine makes them feel more comfortable.

“After a full year in a global pandemic, there is a lot of pent-up demand for travel that our AAA travel agents are seeing tremendous enthusiasm from South Carolinians who are eager to plan a trip,” said Tiffany Wright, spokesperson, AAA – The Auto Club Group in the Carolinas.

“While many want to wait until the summer, some have already received their vaccine and are motivated to travel now.”
