Charleston, South Carolina – Saturday’s police chase in Charleston results with two people arrested and multiple injured.
According to police report, the chase started when officers tried to stop a stolen vehicle on Ashley Hall Road on Saturday.
Instead of stopping, the driver of the stolen vehicle fled the scene trying to free from police.
Multiple patrol vehicles went after the stolen vehicle and the chase ended shortly after when the stolen vehicle crashed on Orleans Road near Citadel Mall, police said.
Police officials informed about the incident Saturday night confirming that two people were arrested and multiple injured were transferred to hospital for treatment. However, all of them suffered minor, non-life-threatening injuries.
Abdur Shabazz was stopped at a red light on Sam Rittenberg Boulevard when a vehicle driving in the other direction crashed directly into his vehicle.
Shabazz suffered minor injuries and said he was lucky since it could have been much worse.
Police didn’t reveal the identity of the suspects and the didn’t provide additional information about the incident.
