North Charleston, South Carolina – Early morning tractor-trailer incident in North Charleston closed all eastbound lanes on Rivers Avenue while first responders were investigating the scene.
According to the local authorities, an overturned 18-wheeler was causing traffic problems in the area before the eastbound lanes on Rivers Avenue at Interstate 526 were reopened.
The incident, per the initial report, took place somewhere around 4:55 a.m. and prompted the first responders to close all eastbound lanes on Rivers Avenue at Interstate 526. While the road was closed to traffic, the traffic was redirected onto I-526 West. Less than an hour later, Rivers Avenue was reopened to traffic.
The local police didn’t say what led to the incident. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
