Goose Creek, South Carolina – There is ongoing investigation for the shooting that took place in Goose Creek on Saturday, police say.
According to police reports, officers responded to the 100 block of Red Bank Road on Saturday, July 3.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found 21-year-old man suffering gunshot wounds.
Police Chief LJ Roscoe said that the man was shot in buttocks.
When first responders arrived at the scene, the man was still alive. He was transferred to the Trident Hospital for treatment where he later died.
There is ongoing investigation about the incident. It is in early stages, but police believe this was not random shooting.
At this point, police don’t have suspects.
The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
