Two times arrested in three days – former NCPD officer face chargers

Charleston, S.C. – Now former NCPD officer was arrested two time in three days for driving under influence.

On Tuesday, Jerome E. Clemens was arrested for first time after striking two parked vehicles and leaving the scene of the accident with property damages. He was charged with DUI.

The Highway Patrol said that he was arrested after colliding into a Kia Forte on South Live Oak Drive and Mountain Pine Road at 2:25 p.m. in Berkeley County on Thursday.

Fortunately, there were no serious injuries as a result of the accident.

On Thursday, at 6 p.m., he was again charged with DUI and driving with a suspended license. According to the Berkeley County Inmate Search, officers driving license was suspended by South Carolina Highway Patrol.

He was terminated off his duties on Wednesday.
