Friday’s collision in Florence County results with one person dead and one person injured, transferred to hospital for treatment.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the incident took place on National Cemetery Road near Swamp Fox Court.
Highway Patrol said two vehicles were driving in opposing lanes when one car crossed the center line and struck the other.
As a result of the crash, one person died at the scene while another suffered injuries and was transferred to hospital.
Authorities didn’t reveal the identity of the victim.
No additional information about the extent of the injuries of the second victim was provided.
