Crash near Aynor ends up with one dead and two injured, report

Aynor, South Carolina – Friday crash near Aynor results with one dead and two people injured.

According to the official report, the crash happened on Friday around 6 p.m. in the area of Dixon Road and Magnolia Highway.

Lee said a Nissan Xterra was traveling on Magnolia Highway, but failed to yield crossing onto Dixon Road when it collided with a Chevrolet pickup truck traveling on S.C. 131.

Both the driver and the passenger of the Nissan were ejected of the vehicle as a result of the heavy collision. They were not wearing seatbelts.

The driver of the Nissan died on the scene while the passenger was transferred to hospital with injuries.

The driver was identified Saturday as 32-year-old Candace Alford, of Conway.

The driver of the Chevrolet was wearing seatbelt, but suffered injuries. He was also transferred in hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown.
