Charleston, South Carolina – Despite states officials’ efforts to reduce the workers shortage with cutting the federal weekly benefits in June, businesses still struggle to find workers across the state.
South Carolina was among the 20+ states who decided to cut the federal benefits earlier than their end date in September.
As we already reported, a group of people filed lawsuit against the Gov. McMaster for ending the federal help.
However, there is still plenty of chances for business owners and those looking for a job to be hired.
The latest job fair is set to take place at the Charleston International Airport today from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Organizers ask those interested who will attend the event to bring multiple copies of their resumes and dress well.
The managers of multiple companies will be on site and attendees can speak directly to the owners for the available job positions.
Everyone who will attend the job fair will enjoy the benefit of a free parking.
