Charleston, South Carolina – Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette made a stop in North Charleston on Friday.
The state’s second-in-command visited Life Industries Corporation’s factory in the city for a reception and tour.
The lieutenant governor witnessed operations of the woman-owned business amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The company normally makes maintenance and cleaning supplies for marine, recreational vehicles, and aviation. It has been producing sanitation products since the pandemic began.
“We are looking forward to welcoming the Lieutenant Governor and trust she will find her visit to be both enjoyable and informative,” company president Grace Schmidt said prior to the visit.
