Orangeburg County, South Carolina – South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that one person was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Orangeburg County.
According to their report, the incident took place before noon on Sunday around 11:50 a.m. on U.S. Highway 15 near Theater Drive.
A 2010 Toyota SUV, the only vehicle involved in the deadly crash, was heading north on Highway 15 when they ran off the left side of the road and hit a tree.
Authorities are investigation the cause of the crash.
No more details were immediately available.
Since the investigation is in the early stages, the police didn’t immediately reveal the identity of the driver.
