Two people, including a teenager, arrested in a connection to the Azalea Square shooting

Charleston, S. C. – Two people were arrested in a connection to the Azalea Square shooting that took place on May 8th.

According to the police, the 22-year-old Steven McCray Harrison Jr of North Charleston was arrested on one count of accessory before the fact, attempted murder, and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Harrison is awaiting his bond hearing to the Hill Finklea Detention Center.

The second arrested is a 16-year-old teenager and his identity was not revealed due to his age.

The teenager was arrested on two counts of attempted murder, one count of possession of a weapon during a violent crime, one count of unlawful carry of a weapon, and sale or delivery of handgun to and possession by certain persons unlawful; stolen.

According to authorities, both were arrested at Northwoods Mall in a collaboration between the North Charleston Police Department and United States Marshals Fugitive Taskforce.
