Monkey bites woman in Myrtle Beach, escaped from local safari park

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina – Police officers responded to a 911 call regarding animal attack on Wednesday.

According to the reports, police responded on a scene in Myrtle Beach area home when woman reported that monkey attacked her.

Officers contacted the owner of T.I.G.E.R.S. preserve that is located on the same road where the attack happened. The owner said that a monkey escaped the facilities and has been seen in nearby houses. However, they managed to recover the monkey shortly after the incident.

The owner also added that this is not the first time monkey to escape their facilities, but they usually return back within hour.

The monkey that attacked the woman reportedly bit her on her arm.

The woman was transferred to hospital for treatment. She suffered minor injuries.
