Charleston police found no evidence of shots fired at Senor Tequila on Ashley River Road on Thursday

West Ashley, South Carolina – On Thursday night, Charleston police officers and Charleston County deputies responded at Senor Tequila on Ashley River Road following a 911 call in regards to shots fired and someone pepper sprayed.

Friday morning, the department confirmed that the investigation showed no evidence of shots fired at the scene.

According to the Charleston PD, the initial call for the incident was for an unruly customer that restaurant staff was trying to vacate from the establishment.

Additionally, officials with the department confirmed that large crowd formed in front of the West Ashley restaurant causing traffic issues in the area.

About an hour after their arrival, Charleston PD and Charleston County Sheriff’s Office responders cleared the area without incidents or injuries.
