Charleston, South Carolina – Two walk-in clinics for veterans vaccination will be organized in North Charleston this week officials confirm.

According to the plan, this is the schedule:

  • Wednesday, March 24th – 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 25th – 3 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Location: Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center’s new VA Outpatient Clinic on Rivers Avenue

No appointment is needed for these clinics. Veterans of all ages who are currently enrolled in VA care are eligible to receive their vaccination.

“We are very excited to offer all of our Veterans, regardless of age, the COVID-19 vaccine,” said Ralph H. Johnson VAMC Director and CEO Scott Isaacks. “These walk-in clinics will allow our Veterans the flexibility to come get vaccinated at a time that is convenient for them.”

Officials say that they expect North Charleston clinic to be fully open until summer, but for now part of the capacities are used for vaccinating the veterans.

According to the latest report, it’s confirmed that more than 42,000 doses of the vaccine were administrated to veterans in the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center.
